Date:

Soldotna Regional Sports Complex, 538 Arena Ave #8200, Soldotna, AK 99669, USA

The Local Solutions Series explores three projects in the running to be the next Drawdown solution we implement as a community. “Drawdown” is the point in time when rampant emissions stop rising and begin to draw-down, re-stabilizing the climate. The solutions we are exploring are good for the community, the economy, and the planet.

After the success of our first two solutions, Community Compost and Solarize the Kenai (both of which are continuing) we are ready to launch our next Local Solution (code name: Central Peninsula Drawdown 3.0)!

Join us Thursday, February 24th either on zoom or in person at the Soldotna Regional Sports Center Conference Room to help map out what an “Energize the Kenai” solution could look like. Come early for a Community Happy Half-Hour with local snacks from 5:30-6:00pm. The Expert Panel Discussion and Community Brainstorm will follow from 6:00-7:30pm.
