Cook Inletkeeper is more than an organization; it is a community of people who believe that caring for a place means showing up for it: learning from one another, protecting what sustains us, speaking up when it matters, and imagining a healthier future together. I feel incredibly grateful to have played even a small part in Cook Inletkeeper’s 30-year legacy of community advocacy and shared stewardship. It is with immense gratitude to have been a part of this community that I am sharing that I will be stepping away from my role at Cook Inletkeeper.
Over the past two years, we have built a strong co-executive leadership model, strengthened our team, and continued to hold the line on protecting the waters and communities of Cook Inlet. I am deeply proud of what this team has accomplished and, even more so, of the spirit with which they do this work.
And that is why I am so excited to share that Cook Inletkeeper is looking for its next leader.
This is an extraordinary opportunity to join an incredible team and help carry forward three decades of work to protect Cook Inlet | Tikahtnu and the life it sustains. The next leader will have the opportunity to build on a strong foundation, work alongside passionate staff and partners, and help shape what comes next for this organization and this place we all care so deeply about.
