Join Trout Unlimited Alaska, Cook Inletkeeper, and local partners at Centennial Park for a day of planting trees to protect fish habitat along the Kenai River! This is a great opportunity to get involved with hands-on restoration and revegetation of a popular fishing site that has seen damage from excessive foot traffic.
This is a family-friendly event, so bring the whole family to get your hands dirty planting trees, create fun salmon-themed arts and crafts, learn how to identify real baby salmon in a viewing tank, and take home free trees for all participants! Free food and all planting materials will be provided.
