Homer Drawdown Climate Smart Homes: Heat Pump 101

November 19, 2024 @ 6:00 pm

Are you heat pump curious? Homer Drawdown’s Climate Smart Homes project is hosting an informational session on heat pumps where you can get your questions answered by local and state wide experts.

Heat Pumps are highly efficient home heating systems that are cost-effective for many homeowners. Join us for Heat Pump 101 to learn how they work, the benefits, the potential costs, current and upcoming available rebates, and how to assess if and what kind of heat pump may be right for your home.

Presenters include Alaska Heat Smart Direct Andy Romanoff, HEA Board Member Erin McKittrick, and local installers Andy Lorentz and Randy Arndt.

Join us virtually or in person at Kachemak Bay Campus. Come early at 5:30 to share a light soup meal. The presentation will begin at 6pm and be followed by Q&A.
