Upper Kenai River Float

August 29 @ 9:30 am
$20

Spend a day on the beautiful Upper Kenai River and experience the magic of one of Alaska’s most treasured places. This family friendly float, sponsored by Cook Inletkeeper and guided by Kenai River Drifter’s Lodge, is an opportunity to unplug, slow down, and enjoy the outdoors while discovering what makes the watershed so special.

As we float through the river’s turquoise waters participants of all ages can learn about salmon, wildlife, and the healthy habitats that support them. we’ll share stories about the river and explore how clean water and thriving salmon streams benefit our communities. After our time on the water, we’ll gather at a campground in Cooper Landing to relax, share stories from the day, and enjoy a meal together.

Whether this may be your first introduction to the river for the first time or creating new memories in a place you already love, this float is designed to inspire curiosity, appreciation, and a lasting connection to the natural world right here in our backyard.
