Interested in Joining the Inletkeeper Board of Directors?

Cook Inletkeeper is seeking nominations and applicants for our Board of Directors! We’re looking for engaged, community-minded people from across the Cook Inlet watershed | Tikahtnu K’egh’uh who care deeply about protecting the lands and waters we all love. We believe lasting change comes from science, stewardship, and solidarity, and from people willing to show up for community and commit to this place we call home.

We’re looking for people who are:

  • Passionate about stewardship and connection to the Cook Inlet | Tikahtnu K’egh’uh watershed
  • Ready to contribute their time, perspective, and care for our community
  • Willing to support fundraising and advance our advocacy, science, and outreach work
  • Guided by high ethical standards and a commitment to a healthy economy, a clean energy future, and a sound, protected environment

We’re growing a Board that reflects the full diversity of the Cook Inlet | Tikahtnu region — because this work belongs to all of us. You do not need to hold a formal leadership title to serve. We value lived experience, traditional knowledge, community relationships, and a deep connection to place just as much as professional credentials.

We welcome:

  • Alaska Native community members and others who reflect the rich diversity of our region
  • People of varied genders, generations, and geographic communities
  • Individuals with legal, nonprofit, business, or other professional experience
  • The next generation of Inletkeepers, as well as seasoned nonprofit leaders

If you care about this place we call home and want to help shape its future, we hope you’ll consider joining us. Interested? Email us at keeper@inletkeeper.org to learn more.
