This position will play a key role in advancing Homer Drawdown, a community-led effort to implement local climate solutions, and in coordinating Inletkeeper’s annual Electronics Recycling events across the region.

Cook Inletkeeper is hiring a Community Organizer to help strengthen local climate action and community engagement on the Lower Kenai Peninsula! This position will play a key role in advancing Homer Drawdown, a community-led effort to implement local climate solutions, and in coordinating Inletkeeper’s annual Electronics Recycling events across the region.

We’re looking for someone who loves connecting people to purpose — someone organized, creative, and grounded in community. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, personable, and passionate about inspiring people to take meaningful action, with experience in event planning and volunteer coordination.
